How BRDG handles your information

This Privacy Policy describes how BRDG collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with the BRDG mobile app, the BRDG website, and related support workflows.

Information we collect

Information you provide. This may include your name, age or birth-date details, profile details, photos, preferences, plan or event content, messages, and any information you send to support.

Location information. When you grant permission, BRDG may use location information to show nearby people, plans, and distances, and to improve relevance inside the app.

Device and usage information. We may collect technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, identifiers, diagnostics, and usage events needed to operate, secure, and improve BRDG.

How we use information

To provide and operate BRDG features, including profiles, discovery, messages, invites, and events.
To personalize nearby matches, activity suggestions, and other in-app recommendations.
To maintain safety, investigate misuse, enforce our terms, and respond to reports.
To communicate with you about support requests, product updates, or operational notices.
To analyze performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve the product over time.

How we may share information

With service providers that help us host, operate, support, or secure BRDG.
With other BRDG users when you choose to publish profile content, events, messages, or similar in-app content.
When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of BRDG, our users, or others.
As part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of some or all of our business assets, subject to applicable law.

Your choices

Profile updates. You can edit profile details inside the app.

Location permissions. You can manage location access in your device settings.

Notifications. You can manage push notification permissions in your device settings.

Account deletion. You can delete your account in-app from Settings using Delete Account. If you cannot access the app, email hello@brdg.social.

Retention, children, and contact

Retention. We retain information for as long as needed to provide BRDG, support legitimate business operations, comply with legal obligations, and protect the safety and integrity of the service.

Adults only. BRDG is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18.
